Meet Abbey
Abbey grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney surrounded by the ocean and covered in sand. She attended primary and secondary school in Sydney however moved to Melbourne to complete her five years of tertiary education at RMIT University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) with Distinction.
In 2017 Abbey was lucky enough to spend a month working in two Indian Hospitals. She enjoyed her time and admits it broadened her clinical knowledge and improved her skill set. She was humbled to provide much needed manual therapy to the local community.
Abbey played every sport imaginable growing up but her main loves are soccer and swimming, which continues to participate in, and utilizes her knowledge of sports into her treatment plans.
Abbey is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Osteopathy Australia (OA).
Outside of work, Abbey’s passions include travel, art and cooking.
As an Osteopath, most people visit when they are experiencing pain in the muscles or joints, or nerve pain. The pain may be a result of an acute injury, or it may be pain that has been around for months or years- what many call ‘chronic pain’ or ‘chronic intermittent pain’ if it is pain that comes and goes.
